Teaching Force are proud to announce we are partnering with Framework, a local East Midlands charity delivering housing, health, employment, support and care services to people with a diverse range of needs.
Regardless of their past, or the challenges they face, Framework empower people to achieve financial stability, social inclusion and independence, because everyone has the right and potential to achieve a better future.
They work with more than 11,000 people every year across Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield, Lincoln and Sheffield - people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless - including:
- Young people
- People affected by homelessness
- People with physical and mental health issues
- People with drug and alcohol issues
- People who are unemployed
- People who are socially excluded
- Ex-service personnel
- Vulnerable women and families
Ed Mawson, SEN Recruitment Manager at Teaching Force, said, "Homelessness is at a higher level than ever in Nottingham and the surrounding area, and as a local business, we felt that partnering with Framework is part of doing our bit to give back to the local community.
Framework are in dire need of ambient food items - like tinned soups, stews and beans - as well as toothbrushes and other personal care items. Many people donate warm clothing, but it's items like toothbrushes that people on the streets so desperately need - so we are partnering with schools and academies to collect donations to help their service users."
